A Bit About Me
I am a passionate leader, learner and lover of all things sports media; as a current student at Virginia Commonwealth University, I am working to make my dreams of staying close to the game a reality.
I am proud to excel in a multitude of skill sets, including being proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. Specifically, I've spent a great about of time working with graphic design and audio production.
Additionally, I have a true knack for interviewing, especially that of long form content in podcast form. Getting to know a person's story is what it's all about for me, and that simply weaves into my apt for storytelling.
One of the greatest joys in life, one that is shown through the role of sports, is the trials and tribulations that a person experiences though being a part of a team. Interacting with people and problem-solving are two necessary life skills, and those are skills that are ever-changing and I am always developing.
As a person and as a doer, I think of myself as enthusiastic and determined most highly. Not only am I someone that knows how to have fun and bring joy to any given team, but I take a great deal of pride in my high level of work ethic. Above all, however, is the manner that other people that I treat other people. What's most important in anything I do is the people that I am able to surround myself with and are able to collaborate with in making an incredible product.

With this one-of-a-kind summer collegiate baseball organization, I have had the responsibility of acting as the team's lead graphic designer, managing the tasks of other media interns, and producing the official daily podcast which includes exclusive interviews and high-level analysis.
In my role as lead graphic designer, I create consistent templates for gamedays and final scores to be posted on social media, speciality posters that serve numerous print and digital purposes, sales and promotional items sent to fans and sponsors, and many other creative pieces throughout the season and offseason.
For home games I serve as the primary media contact and supervisor of the press box, and for away games I take on the role of Sports Information Director and media team leader, plus provide any other assistance when necessary.
As a media liaison for H3 Sports, a local youth development non-profit organization, I travel to events around the area as media coverage, assist with the website and other media duties. Additionally, I host and produce a podcast / Youtube show "Unique Pathways" in which I have the pleasure of interviewing various individuals around sports about the unique journey it took to get to where they are today and who helped them get there.
Through the student-run radio station at Virginia Commonwealth University, I've had the opportunity to commentate live broadcasts of a handful of different VCU sporting events, including men's basketball games. In addition to the prep and on-air analysis I provide, I also take on running the station's sports social media. Through Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), I'm able to connect with the fanbase and build the station's viewership by providing in-depth statistic analysis, film breakdowns, and more.
When I accepted the role of Sports Director, I took the responsibility of managing the roster of prospective sports broadcasters at VCU, along with recruiting new ones for WVCW. It is part of my job to schedule all people covering through the different sporting events and ensure that they are equipped with the resources and connections needed to succeed on a game day.
